JOB DESCRIPTION: Tufts Progressive Alumni Network campus liaison
We are looking for an INTERN! The Tufts Progressive Alumni Network (TPAN;
www.tuftsprogressives.org) campus liaison will work closely with the TPAN
Executive Board to keep alumni members up to date on campus issues. Their
primary responsibility is to collect information about campus activism,
programming, and conflicts, and then to transmit that information to TPAN via
our website, blog, and list-serve. This semester long project is a great
opportunity for a student interested in journalism, as they will be expected to
speak with many different actors on campus, attend student group meetings,
gather information from campus publications, and distilling that information
into action-oriented prose. This position is very important to the success of
TPAN, we as alumni cannot support undergraduate activists if we don’t know
what’s happening up on the hill. This position is unpaid but there may be
possibilities for credit.
