Social Justice Fund

The Social Justice Fund provides grants of $100-$900 for campus activism, social justice projects, or community organizing, with a focus on projects that have an impact both on the Tufts campus and on a larger scale. We welcome proposals detailing creative new approaches, ideas, and initiatives. However, in order to make the most of limited resources, the Social Justice Fund targets funding to those proposals that have an explicit social justice focus and are action, rather than research, oriented. At this time, we are unable to fund expenses associated with travel. Please submit your application to sjf@tuftsprogressives.org.

Those receiving awards of $500 or more will be required to fill out a one-page report at the completion of the project. To keep the Social Justice Fund going for future Tufts activists, grantees will be asked to support the Fund later on as alumni. Seniors may not apply for activities occurring after graduation.
